Art Deco refers to a style that was mainly coined in the 1920s and 1930s and set itself apart from the preceding styles, especially Art Nouveau. Characteristic for objects of this style were above all the design elements and an abstracting decoration, which were accompanied by the use of high-quality or also new and thus exotic materials.
Beautiful set of 6 coffee spoons from the Art Deco period. Slightly pointed spoons. Handles with geometric decoration and openwork heart-shaped cloverleaf decoration. In the original case! Made in the Netherlands around 1925, master mark H. Hooijkaas. Very good condition with small traces of use.
