Elegant 3-pieces mocha set composed from a pot, a sugar bowl and a creamer. Rounded, clear geometrical Art Deco shapes, with spherical resp. lobar ebony handles. The pot lid has an open worked abstract-floral knob. Marked with the assay mark of Johannes Siggaard, dated 1934.
Johannes Siggaard was a danish assayer and worked especially for the manufactory of Georg Jensen, who even bought this mark in 1942. The set is most likely designed by Harald Nielsen, the main designer of hollowware for Jensen in the 1920s-1930s. Please compare the design no. 80 and 80a.
