Gorgeous brooch with a huge, natural turquoise. The oval, high domed stone has a natural texture and tones. It has a bezel settin and was mounted in the centre of the brooch. The surrounding frame has the shape of a mandorla aureole - with jagged ends - and is heavy open worked and filled with many marcasites. Back with needle closure. Marked, mark illegible, probably Germany, 1930ties.
