The term Art Deco quickly became established, especially in the art and antiques trade, and referred to a style that was primarily shaped in the 1920s and 1930s and stood out from previous styles, especially Art Nouveau. Characteristic of objects of this style were above all the design elements and an abstract decor, which went hand in hand with the use of high-quality or new and therefore exotic materials.

Beautiful brooch in art deco. Geometric rectangular shape with square corners, in which lapis lazuli plates were attached. Closed areas, set with mother-of-pearl, amethysts and small marcasites. In the center, in a prong setting, there is a square lapis lazuli. With paperback on the back.
