Pretty painted ceramic figure of a marabou with glaze from the world-famous ceramic manufactory Goldscheider, Vienna. Realistic representation with successful colouring. Designed by Siegismund Wernekinck, the factory mark between 1922 - 1944. The design was awarded a prize at the Paris Arts and Crafts Exhibition in 1925. Base slightly bumped (see photos), otherwise very good! Collectible, today only very rare examples can be found.
