Gorgeous antique egg coddler (boiler resp. warmer) from the victorian epoch. Egg-shaped body with wooden knob (upper half as a lid), three curved feets. Under the body is mounted a holder for the removable heater unit. Inside is a removable holder for four eggs. Marked, made by Atkin Brothers in Sheffield, about 1900.
