Toi et moi, you and me - this idea is intended to illustrate pictorially those rings of the early 20th century that hold two equally juxtaposed gemstones. Under the influence of Art Nouveau, many of these rings show themselves in elegantly curved form.
Two large old cut brilliants of about 0.2 ct each are set here between the curved, diamond-set ends of the ring band. A platinum overlay above the yellow gold emphasizes the white color of the gemstones. The beautiful ring is very well preserved and is particularly suited to become a love promise again after nearly 110 years.
