Unusual bulbous round pillbox in silver from France circa 1880. Rare hammered pattern of a crocodile skin, hinged lid decorated with indicated rose gilt lock hinge. Remains of gilding inside. Marked with the French boar's head mark for silver 950/- and illegible maker's mark. Condition very good, collectible!
