Beautiful small tray (ring or business cards tray) from the time of Art Nouveau. Flat stand, oval body with heavy scalopped ends and lengthwise contoured rim. Inside a rich relief decor with iris flowers. Marked, made by Thomas Bishton in Birmingham, dated 1912. Pattern no. 494547.
