This exceptional set consists of six pieces, all in solid silver. The large warming bowl contains a removable central section and two divided serving bowls on a flat base with lids. It is filled with warm water when in use. It stands on ornate paw feet, the rims are decorated with a continuous acanthus frieze. The handles of the bowl are made of white bakelite and are connected to the body with holders in a rocaille pattern. The removable central section is decorated with pine cones.
The serving bowls have a rectangular basic shape, the lids of the serving bowls have removable handles in rocaille pattern with bayonet catch and can be used upside down as additional serving bowls. The lower bowls are also decorated with a continuous acanthus frieze.
Made and marked in Allessandria/Italy by the manufactory Ricci & C. from 1935. This set is in excellent, hardly used condition. All pieces marked.
