Very elegant, multi-piece warming tray or food warmer, completely in solid silver. The set consists of a frame on volute feet, a burner and two bowls with removable handle. The burner can be operated with lamp oil. Neo-Rococo scallops and abstract tendrils on the rims and handle form the decoration. Handle on the lid with bayonet catch. Marked, made in Italy around 1950, mark between 1944 to 1968. Manufacturer not legible. Excellent condition, hardly any signs of use.
