Antique silver from our inventory
The gallery edge is characterized by a richly openwork design: chopsticks, grids, round or oval openings - there are no limits to your imagination. The practical function of such an edge, which prevents containers or bottles placed on it from sliding down, is combined with the decor to form a useful and at the same time beautiful object. The openwork design allows interesting views and also offers something "for the eye".
Round tray with gallery edge. Flat stand, richly perforated edge, decorated with interpenetrating pointed arch motifs. Decorated inside with lush abstract flowers and leaves. Border edge with frieze. Marked bottom, manufactured by Viners of Sheffield, early 20th century.
