Question about item

Unusual bangle from the Biedermeier era in gold-plated silver around 1840. Applied floral depictions with leaves and flowers, the flowers also set with rubies. Two-part, to be opened with a hinge and snap fastener.
The inside of the bracelet was visibly changed in size. We have decided not to remove the change and to offer the piece of jewelery to our customers anyway, or just now, as a collector's item. Despite the changes, the bracelet is very stable and wearable!
