Beautiful two-piece strainer from the Biedermeier period around 1820. Built strainer holder on a smooth base. Colander with hemispherical, smooth dome and horizontal beaded rim, finely turned handle of organic material. Hardly legible marked 12, for 12 lots ( 750/- ) of silver on the handle. Probably made in Germany or Austria around 1820. Condition: patina due to age, otherwise very good!
